Try to make the service memorable. People don't come into the store just for their coffee. If they did, then they would be brewing coffee at home. Try and make the experience fun for the customer and you. (:

Starbucks as a company allows us to create a safe place for anyone to come. They give us the verbage to deal with hard customers, and the resources to make the situation right. I have an amazing manager and amazing coworkers. I also love the chaos that is controlled and systematic.
