I loved working with the team to come up with new ideas on how to interact with new students over an online format. We were given the freedom and resources to come up with new ideas. I also enjoyed working with team members and CALS advisors.
What I wish was different
I do wish that there could have been more tasks but I understand that it was difficult given the online structure. Other than that it was a great experience, I really enjoyed helping the new incoming students.
Advice
I would say that it is important to share your ideas! This experiences really showed me what a team was. Everyone from the other student orientation leaders to the advisors worked together to come up with ideas to keep students engaged and give them accurate information.
