***This internship is reserved for students eligible for the summer internship stipend. Students eligible will have been notified via email from Student Engagement & Career Development.***

This intern will have an instrumental impact with the research, planning, and development of the InnovateAthon educational program for high school students. InnovateAthon are industry-sponsored creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship workshops that build on and supplement high school curriculum. InnovateAthon sessions are held over a long weekend (3-4 days) or a week in the summer when school is not in session. Each session is led by 2 or 3 certified high school teachers with industry-sponsored scholarships for participating students. In addition, there is potential for high school or college credit. The program originated at the University of Arizona in the Corporate Engagement organization. It was originally targeted for a 2020 alpha/beta launch in three southern Arizona school districts, but put on hold for Covid. Launch is currently targeted for spring 2023 in southern Arizona, central Arizona, southern California, and/or southern Nevada.

Education2Success.org LLC (Ed2S.org for short) was established to develop the InnovateAthon program. Ed2S.org is a limited liability company (LLC) in the state of Arizona, and an IRS-registerd 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity.
