For over 70 years, Tucson Medical Center has delivered caring, personalized, quality health care to patients and their families in an environment that is supportive and compassionate. Our locally governed hospital provides care for the health and well-being of Southern Arizona.

The TMC Foundation supports the charitable mission of Tucson Medical Center, and is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life in our community. We are looking for a summer intern interested in supporting our organization, and learning about philanthropy, non-profit management, administration and event planning through meaningful and engaging work assignments.

This position will support TMC Foundation staff by assisting in all aspects of our gift processing using industry leading fundraising database ‘Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge’. The position will support donor stewardship in generating timely and accurate donor acknowledgements and maintain database integrity. A student with particular interest and skill set in databases management may have the opportunity for a more intensive project.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general office administrative tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Support gift processing through data entry and acknowledgement generation through Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Word
  • Maintain organized files in shared file system
  • Process updates and changes to donor records in the database
  • Organize and consolidate physical records

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to learn about philanthropy, the non-profit world, a bird’s eye view of the TMC Healthcare system, and CRM databases while supporting a great cause.
