Job Shadow (virtual) - Biomedical Research/Brain Imaging

The UA Job Shadow Program will be held virtually through ONE HOUR informational interviews over Zoom. 

Founded in 2006 and located in Phoenix, AZ, the Banner Alzheimer's Institute is a world-leading research and clinical center dedicated to serving patients and their families who are impacted by Alzheimer's disease. In addition to comprehensive clinical care, BAI offers clinical trials, caregiver education, and community engagement events. BAI is also home to some of the first therapeutic Alzheimer's prevention trials that are currently being conducted world-wide.

The host for this opportunity is Michael Ahmadi, a Bioinformatics Scientist!

Students who would benefit from this opportunity are students majoring in psychology, biology, biomedical engineering, and other related disciplines. In particular, students who are considering graduate school or medical school would also benefit greatly from this opportunity.

Interview times will be on the following days:
  • Monday 5/18
  • Tuesday 5/19
  • Wednesday 5/20
  •  Friday 5/22

  2. Sign up for one of the mandatory orientation sessions HERE If you are unable to attend any of these times, please contact us ASAP at jobshadow@email.arizona.edu so we can work with your schedule 
  3. Once orientation is completed, you will be able to apply and select an interview spot.
