Job Shadow (virtual)- Sales/Translation Services in Denver, CO
The UA Job Shadow Program will be held virtually through ONE HOUR informational interviews over Zoom.
Straker is a global translation services company. We help businesses grow internationally by translating their materials into different languages. We handle 150+ languages and translate most any material (websites, marketing campaigns, employee trainings, etc). Straker is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. There are about 150 employees total. This includes salespeople, customer service, project managers, and developers. All translation is done by a network of thousands of freelance linguists around the world.
The host for this opportunity is Tom Wicker, Vice President of Revenue!
Students can expect to learn how to figure out if sales is right for you, how to get a career moving, and how to build yourself opportunities to do work that you love.
Students who would benefit from this opportunity are any students looking to go into Sales would be ideal. Any major is fine -- great salespeople come from all different backgrounds -- and most don't yet know they will enjoy Sales!
