Job Shadow (virtual) - Environmental Planning/Engineering in San Diego, CA
The UA Job Shadow Program will be held virtually through ONE HOUR informational interviews over Zoom.
The San Diego County Water Authority sustains a $245 billion regional economy and the quality of life for 3.3 million residents through a multi-decade water supply diversification plan, major infrastructure investments and forward-thinking policies that promote fiscal and environmental responsibility. A public agency created in 1944, the Water Authority delivers a safe and reliable wholesale water supply at an affordable cost to 24 retail water agencies, including cities, special districts and a military base.
The host for this opportunity is Jeremy Crutchfield, Water Resources Manager!
During this interview, students will have the opportunity to learn about the host's path from an engineering student at the U of A, to a top five private engineering firm, to now serving in the public sector building water infrastructure and setting water policy.
Students who would benefit from this opportunity are students interested in Engineering, Construction Management and Environmental Planning opportunities in a large market with engagement in statewide policy.
