Job Shadow in Naturopathic Medicine (Tempe, AZ)

Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) is an accredited, four-year naturopathic medical school located in Tempe, Arizona. Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession that treats the root cause of an illness (not just the symptoms), by combining the best of conventional medicine and alternative therapies to help patients achieve optimal health. Students at SCNM study biomedical sciences, as well as time-tested natural healing modalities such as nutrition, botanical medicine, and acupuncture. With a state-of-the-art medical center and integrative Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine on campus, students graduate with the evidence-based clinical experience necessary to become successful naturopathic doctors.

Beginning in late 2020, students will also have the opportunity to take advantage of SCNM’s new Botanical Research Institute, which will house an analytical chemistry lab and an isolation laboratory, providing the ability to conduct bioassay guided extractions to understand and uncover the mechanism of actions within botanicals.

The host for this opportunity is the Admissions Recruiter, Sarah Guhman!
