During the shadow, students may observe the following:
Early morning 1: Liquid Nitrogen Fill on USU two super conductive magnets
Early morning 2: NMR calibration & check
Late morning 1: LCMS oil change/cleaning
Late morning 2: Gas tank check
Afternoon 1: qNMR sample prep
Afternoon 2: qNMR experiments
Late Afternoon 1: Biology Department Sample Prep
Late Afternoon 2: GCMS runs
Late Afternoon 3: Data Analysis
All majors are encouraged to apply, but especially students studying chemistry or biochemistry. Lunch will be provided. This opportunity will be available for the following days:
- Monday, March 9th
- Tuesday, March 10th
- Wednesday, March 11th
- Thursday, March 12th
- Friday, March 13th
