Job Shadow in Real Estate (Rancho Mirage, CA)

WhiteStar Management is a locally owned and operated property management and leasing company COMMITTED to delivering the highest level of quality service, with a customized personal touch! We have been managing homes and HOAs for over 15+ years and work very hard each day to provide legendary customer service to all our clients. We manage all property types: single family homes, condos, higher end multi-family units and entire homeowner's associations (HOA's)!

We work with relocation companies as well as insurance agencies, providing their clients with interim housing, while their homes are being remediated or while their employees are on temporary assignments. We are also working on the development of a 326 Unit Private Surf Resort in the Coachella Valley.

The host for this opportunity is President and owner, Patrick Belous, who is also a UA Alum!

During the shadow, students can expect to shadow the President of Whitestar Management, Inc. for 4-6 hours depending on the day. During the shadow, students may experience:
  • Attending a company or department meeting
  • Question and answer period with President concerning topics such as industry specific information, business management information, customer service topics, general operations of different departments, etc.

Students who may benefit are those with interest in business management, community and property management, and the real estate industry. Lunch will be provided. This shadow will be available the following days:
  • Sunday, March 8
  • Tuesday, March 10
  • Friday, March 13

This career exploration/professional development opportunity is part of the University of Arizona Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP offers one-of-a-kind, low-stakes, high-value experiences for current Wildcats to gain firsthand exposure to careers, fields, and workplaces, and to interact closely with actual professionals and employers. Unless otherwise noted, JSP shadows last ONE DAY (4-8 hours) and will take place during Spring Break, March 9-13, 2020.
