Job Shadow in Higher Education/Development (Miami, FL)

A private research university with more than 17,000 students from around the world, the University of Miami is a vibrant and diverse academic community focused on teaching and learning, the discovery of new knowledge, and service to the South Florida region and beyond.

The host for this opportunity is the Director of Professional Development & Training and a UA Alum, Sarah Seavey!

Follow along to meetings, a University of Miami campus tour, and participate in a hands-on brainstorming session for Professional Development & Training team. Learn the Design Thinking and Co-Creation methods that we use to create and pilot professional development and training programs.

Students who may benefit from this opportunity are those interested in Higher Education. Lunch will be provided. This shadow will only be available the following dates:
  • Monday, March 9
  • Tuesday, March 10
  • Wednesday, March 11
  • Thursday, March 12

This career exploration/professional development opportunity is part of the University of Arizona Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP offers one-of-a-kind, low-stakes, high-value experiences for current Wildcats to gain firsthand exposure to careers, fields, and workplaces, and to interact closely with actual professionals and employers. Unless otherwise noted, JSP shadows last ONE DAY (4-8 hours) and will take place during Spring Break, March 9-13, 2020.
