Job Shadow in Luxury/Corporate Retail (San Francisco, CA)

The host of this opportunity is Paige Pier who is a Merchandise Leader and UA Alum!


Summary of what to expect:
   - Every day is different in retail, and even more so at RH, so it is hard to outline what the day will entail.
   - You will experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
   - Depending on the day, you'll be shadowing a Merchant who will be likely be working on a variety of the following:
   * Participate in weekly financial review meetings. How to analyze the business: actual sales vs forecast, comp %, top sellers, bottom sellers, what's working, what's not, and why?
   * Meet with the Product Development team to review the status of new developments for next season's launch. Review any new samples, new item costing, cost targets and how it compares to similar items in our current assortment and from a competitive standpoint.
   * With the Inventory Planning team, review the new item sales forecast.
   * Participate in proofing process of catalog and web - including naming, copy, dimensions, images, etc.
   * Review upcoming Gallery Floorsets - what items are we going to show in one of our new Galleries.
   * Research, respond, and resolve customer requests and service feedback.
   * SKU Item set-up and maintenance.
   * Manage all price changes in partnership with Planning and Merch Operations.
