Job Shadow in Construction Management (Tucson, AZ)

The host for this program is Matthew Thrower, Senior Project Manager!

A typical day would consist of shadowing a Sr. Project Manager, Project Engineer and/or Superintendent. During this meeting the shadow will sit in various meeting and go on project site walks. These students will learn what opportunities are possible at DPR. Students should anticipate a full work day.

Students who may benefit are those with interests in construction, engineering, business, and management. Lunch will be provided. This shadow will be available for the following days:
  • Monday, March 9th
  • Tuesday, March 10th
  • Wednesday, March 11th
  • Thursday, March 12th
  • Friday, March 13th

This career exploration/professional development opportunity is part of the University of Arizona Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP offers one-of-a-kind, low-stakes, high-value experiences for current Wildcats to gain firsthand exposure to careers, fields, and workplaces, and to interact closely with actual professionals and employers. Unless otherwise noted, JSP shadows last ONE DAY (4-8 hours) and will take place during Spring Break, March 9-13, 2020.
