Banner University Medical Center Tucson is a nationally ranked general medical and surgical facility, rated high performing in 4 adult specialties and 2 procedures and conditions. It is a teaching hospital, and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern Arizona!
The host for this opportunity is the Senior Manager and UA Alumni, Cassandra Peel!
During the shadow students may:
- Attend a NEO
- Attend a team meeting
- Attend a donor meeting
- Respond to events that emerge throughout the day
This shadow would benefit students interested in healthcare and society. Lunch will be provided. This opportunity will ONLY be available:

This career exploration/professional development opportunity is part of the University of Arizona Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP offers one-of-a-kind, low-stakes, high-value experiences for current Wildcats to gain firsthand exposure to careers, fields, and workplaces, and to interact closely with actual professionals and employers. Unless otherwise noted, JSP shadows last ONE DAY (4-8 hours) and will take place during Spring Break, March 9-13, 2020.
