Job Shadow in Healthcare Consulting (Tucson, AZ)
Banner Health has two hospitals in Tucson, specializing in academic medicine. We are the only Level I Trauma Center in Southern Arizona. Our mission is "Making healthcare easier, so that life can be better."
The host for this opportunity is Kevin Storey, Human Resources Consultant!
During this shadow opportunity, students will take a tour of the hospital and meet with nursing leaders to learn about labor productivity and the challenges of leadership in general.
Students who might benefit from this shadow are those interested in Healthcare administration. Students should bring their own lunch and vaccine records, preferably of flu and TB. This shadow will only be available for the following dates:
- Tuesday, March 10
- Wednesday, March 11
This career exploration/professional development opportunity is part of the University of Arizona Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP offers one-of-a-kind, low-stakes, high-value experiences for current Wildcats to gain firsthand exposure to careers, fields, and workplaces, and to interact closely with actual professionals and employers.
