Job Shadow in Graphic Design & Magazine Publishing (Stanford, CA)

The mission of Stanford Alumni Association is to reach, serve and engage all Stanford alumni and students, to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between the university and its graduates, and to provide the university with goodwill and support.

We offer a range of opportunities for alumni to connect with each other, grow in their personal and professional lives, and amplify the impact Stanford and its alumni contribute to the world.

Stanford Magazine is an award-winning editorial publication with stories ranging from research and breakthroughs to alumni profiles to work/life advice. The print edition is published five times per year and there is an online publication at stanfordmag.org

The host for this opportunity is Erin Sonnenschein, a UA Alum and Creative Director for Stanford Magazine!

All majors can apply, however students who may benefit more from this are those interested in design and art. This shadow is available on January 6, 7, 8, or 9th.

This is part of the UA Job Shadow Program (JSP), a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to a career field and be mentored by actual professionals. Unless otherwise noted, the experience is one day long and will take place sometime during late Winter Break, January 2-14, 2020. This is not an employment opportunity and future employment with the organization is not associated with this program. You may apply to no more than 5 JSP opportunities, and if accepted, you must attend a JSP orientation before receiving the contact information for your host.
