Job Shadow in Music Education (White Mountain Apache Reservation, AZ)

Cradleboard Elementary School is located on the beautiful White Mountain Apache Reservation 4 hours from Tucson. 99.9% of the students are White Mountain Apache and are all wonderful and the culture here is wonderful. The host has been here for 13 years and enjoys the unique opportunities to experience the beauty and culture of this area. We would love to invite one or more students interested in education to spend a day with us.

The host for this opportunity is Reba Serrano, Music Teacher and UA Alum!

During the shadow, students will have the opportunity to observe:

  • Teaching
  • Tutoring
  • Interview with the Apache Language & Culture teacher

This opportunity would be great for students interested in education and Music. It will only be available on January 9, 10, 13, or 14th. Lunch will be provided.

This is part of theĀ UA Job Shadow Program (JSP), a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to a career or field and be mentored by actual professionals. Unless otherwise noted, the experience is one day long and will take place sometime during late Winter Break, January 2-14, 2020.
