Job Shadow in Civil Engineering (Tucson, AZ)

 Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) was incorporated in 1985 as a result of the purchase of the telephone engineering division of its predecessor, Associated Engineers, by Pacific Telecom, Inc. 8:00 - 8:30 Introduction
8:30 - 11:30 Shadow Project Engineer
   * structure design

   * foundation design
11:30 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 2:30 Shadow Second Project Engineer
   * structure design
   * model design
   * foundation design
2:30 - 3:30 Recap with Engineering Manager

This shadow would be beneficial for civil engineering majors, or engineering students. The available dates for this will be January 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, or 14th.

This is part of the UA Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to a career field and be mentored by actual professionals. Unless otherwise noted, the experience is one day long and will take place sometime during late Winter Break, January 2-14, 2020.
