We have exciting summer internship and full-time rotation program opportunities for students interested in an Information Technology role.

IT Services (ITS) plays a critical role in these areas by providing the important resources, tools and services that can improve the company’s execution. 

ITS provides the infrastructure and engine that will drive business growth, agility, innovation, process excellence, personalized customer experience and global reach for TI. The organization supports TI’s applications and technology infrastructure for the company’s critical design, sales, manufacturing, finance, operations and cybersecurity functions.  When you join the IT Service organization, you will be part of our exciting 3-year rotation program for new college hires. This gives you the opportunity to have multiple assignments across IT to broaden your perspective of the critical tools and services we provide, build a strong network and develop cross functional skills. 

Early in your career, you will gain exposure to the variety of IT roles by having challenging, meaningful assignments from the start - because nothing beats real-world experience! Once your rotations are complete, you will be placed in a rewarding position that plays to your interests and strengths.

When joining our team as either an intern or full-time within the rotation program, you have the opportunity to work in different functions across IT such as:
  • Business Analyst
  • Application Developer
  • Systems Admin / Security Admin / Network Specialist / Mainframe Specialist

Requirements
Candidates applying for Fulltime Opportunities must have:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0 GPA, or higher
  • Basic understanding of web development, programming (C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, R, SQL) and scripting
  • Basic understanding of Networks, Operating systems (Windows, Unix) and Databases (Oracle)


The fulltime positions are open only to U.S. workers, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, temporary residents (individuals who have gone through the legalization program), refugees, and asylees.

Program Descriptions
Internship Program
When you join TI as an intern you tackle important projects early on. You don’t shadow. You don’t make copies. You dive into meaty projects right away that challenge you to find creative solutions to complex problems. You learn while you work and vice versa. And you get access to invaluable insight and mentoring from TI’s top leaders.

Global Rotation Program
When you join the IT Service organization, you will be part of our exciting rotation program.  You’ll spend 3 years in the program with multiple assignments to broaden your perspective, learn the IT organizations and cultures, and build a strong network and develop cross functional skills.  Early in your career you will gain exposure to the variety of IT roles by having meaningful assignments from the start- because nothing beats real-world experience.   Once your rotations are complete, you will be placed in a rewarding position that plays to your strengths.
