What you will be doing……
As the Sr Director of the Urban Air Mobility group within Honeywell Aerospace – you will be an integral part of a senior engineering management team developing and implementing processes and products to sustain Honeywell's growth in the marketplace.
You’ll provide technical leadership for Honeywell’s Urban Air Mobility (UAM) strategy and development. You will strategically plan and lead a cross functional team involved in support of a comprehensive Honeywell UAM strategy and development from an integrated system perspective. You will work effectively across geographical boundaries and act as a change agent. You will analyze the market for competitive intelligence information and develop new growth opportunities.
As a senior leader – you will interact with key stakeholders and senior level customer leaders including working across geographical boundaries as a change agent.
Obviously – you will need to know the market we play in by analyzing competitive intelligence data to identify new growth opportunities and keep up with our competitors.
What we would like you to bring…..
· An Advanced Degree in Engineering
What we need you to bring…..
· Business degree
· Extensive engineering senior leadership experience, preferably in an international, multi-site & multicultural business environment.
· Impactful and influential communication skills – particularly in dealing with senior leadership
· Strong analytical skills – you need to be able to anticipate changes in customer’s needs by knowing the marketplace.
· Strategic thinking mindset and effective management implementation on complex projects
· And above all – we need you to be a change agent – someone not comfortable with the status quo – who is innovative and looks for ways to improve processes & systems.
