It is a general medical and surgical facility. It is a teaching hospital, and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern Arizona.
The host for this opportunity will be Kevin Storey, Human Resources Consultant!
During the job shadow, students may attend meetings, go on rounds around the hospital, and meet with various units to touch base with leaders and staff. Students will also have the opportunity to sit and talk with Kevin about his experiences and background in becoming a Human Resource Consultant.
This shadow would be beneficial for students of nursing and public health. This opportunity will be available one day during January 6-10, 13, or 14th.
This is part of the UA Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to a career field and be mentored by actual professionals.
