Job Shadow in Public Administration (Phoenix, AZ)

The Governor's Office is the elected head of the Executive Branch of State Government. A small but mighty office, we coordinate agency operations, legislative priorities, public relations, and communications across the State on behalf of Governor Ducey.

The host of this job shadow is Deputy COO, Sarah Pirzada!

A schedule for this shadow is as follows:
  • Coffee chat w/ Deputy COO
  • Tour of Governor's Office
  • Lunch with Gov. Office Team
  • Agency visit (depending on student's interest areas)
  • Shadow meetings
This opportunity would benefit students interested in a dynamic service-driven job. Some interest/knowledge of State government is preferred. This shadow will be available either January 2, 7, 8, or 14th.

This is part of theĀ UA Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to a career field and be mentored by actual professionals. Unless otherwise noted, the experience is one day long and will take place sometime during late Winter Break, January 2-14, 2020.
