Job Shadow in Educational Technology (Tucson, AZ)

TUSC is the largest school district in Southern Arizona with over 48,000 students from Pre-Kinder to 12th grade.

The host for this opportunity is a UA Alumni, Tracey Rowley!

A typical day is fast moving and varied. We would spend some time working with teachers and staff on the use of technology in the classroom. Depending on interests, the job shadow experience can also include meeting with and observing the teams in charge of desktop management, programming, or information management. The job shadow experience could also include time in classrooms or schools for a person interested in a career in education.

This shadow is good for students interested in a career of education, or a person interested in a career in technology or information technology. This shadow is only available between January 6-10, 13, & 14th.

This is part of theĀ UA Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to a career field and be mentored by actual professionals. Unless otherwise noted, the experience is one day long and will take place sometime during Winter Break, January 2-14, 2020. This is not an employment opportunity and future employment with the organization is not associated with this program. You may apply to no more than 5 JSP opportunities, and if accepted, you must attend a JSP orientation before receiving the contact information for your host.
