AXA NEXT Externship Program (on campus)
We get it. You’re busy….Really, REALLY busy. Between classes, jobs, studying, clubs, fostering relationships, internships, you have a lot on your plate. Based on students’ needs, we have created the externship, AXA NEXT. We feel it is very important to give students an opportunity to experience leadership, entrepreneurship and mentorship in the financial industry without committing to a full time internship. AXA NEXT is a program that has 3 separate events throughout the semester that focuses on :
- Exposure to working with upper management on specific initiatives
- Full life-cycle of a project: Brainstorming, Planning, and Executing
- The unprecedented opportunities in the financial industry--- especially for recent graduates.
- Deep insight into the financial planning industry and the benefits it has on our community
- Hands on experience with real-life case studies
- Exposure to trainings on various financial planning topics
- The inner workings of running your own business
Once the program is complete, and upon graduation, if you see yourself:
- making a difference in your community
- creating a career that allows you to achieve success both professionally and personally
- building connections with some of the top leaders in the industry of financial services
- working in an award winning office (for is culture, social responsibility, and training program)

The AXA Advisors Externship is a unique opportunity for college students, and is very different from a traditional internship. Here’s why:
- It consists of 3 sessions, each 3 hours long, and is not as big of a time commitment as an internship. (Hosted on campus in the fall and spring semester).
- The first two sessions will be immersive workshops with our Management team that will give you insight into not only the financial industry, but our firm’s culture. The third event will be a celebratory event to wrap up the program.
- It gives you an insight into the daily activities of our financial professionals as well as real-life observations on how we plan for our clients. It is a great way for you to see what it is like to work as a financial professional in a profession where you can really impact others.
- It can serve as a door-opener to a position with our firm upon your graduation. You will be Career-Ready for AXA Advisors upon graduation, if you should choose this path.
