Global Trade Leadership Development Program (GTLDP)

At Raytheon, our Global Trade Professionals, part of the Office of General Counsel, are the company experts in the compliant execution of international business in accordance with U.S. export and import laws and regulations. Export/Import (EX/IM) controls protect national security and are critical to our global success. Global Trade professionals enable Raytheon to make sound business decisions by providing governance and guidance, to all functions, relative to the mandatory requirements and company processes.

The GTLDP Program Participants will be given challenging assignments that will develop functional skills. Participants may have the opportunity to travel throughout the country to attend training sessions that provide not only EX/IM specific training but also finance, process improvement, leadership, and business acumen. Participants will visit Raytheon Business Units during the program and will have exposure to Raytheon leadership across the company.

RAYTHEON COMPANY IS A TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION LEADER SPECIALIZING IN DEFENSE, CIVIL GOVERNMENT AND CYBERSECURITY SOLUTIONS.

The GTLDP is a two (2) year program, consisting of two (2) one (1) year rotations through two of the three (3) sections of Global Trade: Licensing, Compliance, and Trade Counsel. Each rotation will take place at a different Business Unit in our US locations. 

 Program Requirements:  Applicants must be willing to relocate and be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.  Applicant must earn an undergraduate degree during the period stated below and overall GPA must be 3.0 or higher (out of a 4.0 scale). Copies of transcripts required. 

 Types of degrees recruited: Undergraduate degree in fields such as (but not limited to): International Trade, International Business, Economics, Law, or International Studies.

       Required Skills:

       3.0 Cumulative GPA (out of a 4.0 scale)

       Demonstrated history of Leadership

        Undergraduate (Bachelor) degree must be obtained by June 2020 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.

        Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance 

        Desired Skills:

Internship in International Trade Compliance; initiative, strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
