Commercial Rebar Project Manager
Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established post-tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight facilities in the US. We are looking for a Commercial Rebar Project Manager to join our team in our Corporate office located in Austin, TX. This is a full-time permanent placement benefit eligible opportunity.
Duties will include:
- Managing multiple projects (approximately 10-15 simultaneously)
- Maintain a high level of customer service by anticipating project needs
- Working with contractors’ material and scheduling daily
- Looking at project flow and predicting project needs
- Conducting field visits to verify materials onsite
- Managing material against original estimates
- Coordinating production with the plant
- Building long-term relationships
- Creating change orders
Project Management Requirements:
- Experience managing multiple project concurrently (10 ton to 200 ton)
- Ability to manage files/folders in an organized manner on a network
- Working with contractors’ material scheduling daily
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
- PMP training or certification a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent computer Skills
- Excel, Word, Out Look and E Take-off a plus
- Able to read construction documents
- Architectural, Structural, Rebar and Civil
- Strong communication skills
- Written and Verbal
Qualified candidates will have minimum of 5-10 years progressive experience and a Bachelors’ Degree or higher with an emphasis in Engineering or Construction. Some experience within project development/marketing preferred. Must be self-motivated, reliable, and possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills.
