The host for this opportunity is the Senior Manager - Technical Support of the company, Ralph.

   US Foods, a Fortune 150 leading foodservice distributor, is seeking interested first year or second year students majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related to participate in a one-day job shadow experience with our innovative tech group, whose cutting-edge work helps us win in the marketplace.
   
   Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in a one-day resume-building experience, geared at enhancing the student’s career exploration within the tech field at a Fortune 150 leading foodservice distribution company.
   This unique experience will include:
   -Shadowing tech professionals on our Technical Support/Command Center, Networking, and Web Applications teams
   
   -Understanding the role IT plays at a non-tech company to support future career path exploration
   
   -Learning from industry experts on how our company leverages world-class technology in our operations
   
   -Identifying potential future career opportunities available at US Foods, including internship and full-time roles
   
   Tentative Agenda:
   Date: Flexible between Monday the 4th - Thursday the 7th, depending on student availability. We would want to host all students on the same day, should more than 1 apply and be accepted.
   Time: 8:30am - 4:00pm
   Location: US Foods Tempe Office
   
   8:30am – Arrival & Check-In
   9:00am – Introductions & US Foods / IT Overview
   10:00am – Facility Tour
   10:45am – Break
   11:00am – Job Shadow w/ Tech Professionals
   12:30pm – Lunch with US Foods Mentors and Former Interns
   1:30pm - Job Shadow w/ Tech Professionals
   3:30pm – Opportunities w/ US Foods and the US Foods Summer Intern Program
   4:00pm - Wrap-up/Q&A/Departure

This opportunity will be especially beneficial for students in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Business Process Management, or any related field.

The host has specifically asked for Freshmen or Sophomores or a graduation date of December 2020-May 2021.

This opportunity will be available March 4-7, from 8:30am - 4pm. Lunch is on us!
