Job Shadow in Physician Practice Management (Tucson, AZ)
Liver Institute PLLC is a small outpatient liver disease physician practice with one physician and two nurse practitioners with connections to multiple hospitals in the Tucson area.
The host for this opportunity is the owner and physician, Dr. Habib, who graduated with a Master's from the University of Arizona in 2012.
During the shadowing experience, students will learn:
- Electronic Filing
- Maintain the office for smooth workflow
- Monitoring Physician schedules
- Co-payment reconciliation
- Maintaining and monitoring supplies at the office
- Writing basic policies and procedures
- Coordinating and organizing office projects
- Maintaining quality reporting data
This opportunity is available March 5th-8th.
