Job Shadow in Accounting (Tucson, AZ)
The Primavera Foundation was started by members of our community in 1983 by people who were really concerned about the most vulnerable members of our community. Here we are so many years later, Primavera continues to provide not just vital services, but economic investment back into the community so that everyone has a safe place to call home. When the most marginalized have equity, we are all enriched, and our community can thrive.
This job shadow opportunity is hosted by UA 2008 & 2010 Alum, and Financial Operator, Nicollette Daly.
During the job shadow experience, you will (Four to eight hours depending on the day chosen):
- Attend meetings, some planned, some impromptu and listen in on calls.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors
- Answering Board members' questions about the financials to handling internal HR and Accounting questions.
- Possibly go to offsite meetings
- Visit one of our properties or other offices
- Attend a web based meeting with partners in other states.
This opportunity will be most beneficial for any student interested in finance, accounting, or business.
The job shadow is available any weekday from March 04- March 08
