Description: The iLGBT Studies team is seeking a student with an interest in social media and digital marketing to support the Digital Marketing Manager across a range of digital marketing tasks.
 
Tasks include:
  • Create Instragram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts for iLGBT Studies events, initiatives, and activities
  • Social media management: posting, monitoring, and responding across multiple accounts platforms
  • Assist with uploading, tagging, and editing transcripts of videos on YouTube
  • Work closely with the Program Coordinator and Web Designer to keep the iLGBT Studies website updated
  • Work closely with the Program Coordinator and with the UA Foundations and RDI Communication in funding and marketing campaigns 
  • Other duties as needed
 
10-12 hours/week depending on scheduling and student’s availability. Schedule to be determined once the Specialist is hired.
 
Pay rate is $12/hour

Location: Institute for LGBT Studies, 1731 E. Second St., #201, University of Arizona
 
Skills Required:
 
·        Commitment to the mission of iLGBT Studies and interest in issues related to LGBTQ communities
  • Experience creating, posting on, and managing social media platforms and developing social media networks
  • Detail-oriented, ability to solve problems
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Well develop communication with faculty and staff colleagues
