Research Scientist 3 (Req #118936)
Responsibilities:
As part of FaST’s Advanced Development team, you will be responsible for investigating new technologies that will form the foundation of semi-conductor metrology for the next five years. You will learn from experienced teams that deliver leading solutions for semi-conductor metrology and gain hands on experience working with cutting edge metrology systems.
Typical duties would include:
- Design and setup of experiments into feasible metrology systems
- Modelling the physical effects related to metrology systems and semi-conductor structures
- Development of algorithms to improve metrology of emerging structures
- Optical design and characterization
- X-Ray optical design and characterization
A successful candidate would have experience in one or more of these areas with the desire to expand their skill sets.
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more of the following:
- Matlab programming
- FEM analysis in COMSOL or equivalent
- Optical design in ZEMAX
- Optics or X-ray lab research skills and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic) OR Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience. OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
