Experimental Research Scientist (Req #118276)
Responsibilities
The sucessful candidate will be working with a team of scientists and engineers developing future generations of wafer inspections systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing experiments to test novel components
- Design/build of test systems
- Modeling, analyzing test results
- Working with team to improve designs
Preferred Qualifications
- BS, MS or Ph.d in Physics, Material Science Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to analytical tools (optical microscopy, SEM, TEM, AFM, thin-film measurement tools)
- Experience in design/build of imaging tools (optical or ebeam)
- Experience with software analysis tools (e.g. Matlab, IMAGEJ, etc.)
- Experience with instrument control software (NI Labview, C#,etc.)
- Demonstrated hardware debugging skills
- Excellent verbal and written communictaion skills (documents and Powerpoint presentations)
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) OR
- Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience
