Experimental Research Scientist (Req #118276)

Responsibilities
The sucessful candidate will be working with a team of scientists and engineers developing future generations of wafer inspections systems. Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing experiments to test novel components
  • Design/build of test systems
  • Modeling, analyzing test results
  • Working with team to improve designs
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS, MS or Ph.d in Physics, Material Science Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to analytical tools (optical microscopy, SEM, TEM, AFM, thin-film measurement tools)
  • Experience in design/build of imaging tools (optical or ebeam)
  • Experience with software analysis tools (e.g. Matlab, IMAGEJ, etc.)
  • Experience with instrument control software (NI Labview, C#,etc.)
  • Demonstrated hardware debugging skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communictaion skills (documents and Powerpoint presentations)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate (Academic) OR
  • Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience OR
  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience
