Buyer/Planner USA 2 (Req #118980)
Responsibilities:
- Place Purchase Orders for direct materials per requirements driven by MRP or Re-order Point system
- Ensure timely materials availability per planning requirements
- Review and analyze planning reports to ensure materials availability for production
- Communicate with suppliers for early or delayed deliveries as required
- Liaise with suppliers on non-compliant issues and work with suppliers on replacements or repairs
- Communicate with Suppliers on engineering change orders (ECO) and co-ordinate phasing in of the new revision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Industria Engineering/Materials Management/Supply Chain management/ Logistics or equivalent experience
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and experience in SAP system
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Experience in low-volume high-mix manufacturing environment is a plus
