Opportunities for New Graduates in Manufacturing Operations
Typical Gore manufacturing operations opportunities may include:
  • Manufacturing – Lean, Continuous Improvement and/or support projects
  • Supply Chain – Planning, Procurement, Warehousing & Global Logistics
  • Quality assurance
  • Manufacturing systems/data management support
  • Rotational operations programs in our eastern and western US cluster facilities that will focus on supply chain activities or all–around manufacturing exposure. During each rotation, you will have an opportunity to learn business, divisional and functional competencies, emphasizing supply chain functions. 
 
The ideal candidates will:
  • Be energized by providing manufacturing operations support for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams
  • Have the demonstrated ability to drive projects or initiatives through to completion
  • Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. and/or M.S. students graduating December 2018 – August 2019 majoring in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management; we will consider other degrees with transferable knowledge and experiences
  • Be energized by providing manufacturing operations support for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams
  • Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
  • Enthusiasm for being hands on and executing in manufacturing operations roles
  • Curiosity that leads to deeper understanding; problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to use good judgment to work through ambiguity
  • Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently
  • Active learner and self-starter
