Job Shadow in Business Analytics in Tucson
This job shadow opportunity will provide the student an opportunity to gain real world experience within the finance and sales operations departments. This enables the individual to experience the best of two complex pillars of every organization. Some of the responsibilities include:
Some of the job responsibilities include the following:
1. Prepare sales forecasts and collect and analyze data to evaluate current sales goals
2. Align all sales reporting with the financials of the company
3. Research and evaluate current economic conditions that may affect the organization's ability to sell it's products
4. Assist in the development of sales quotas and commission plans
5. Work within salesforce to create meaningful dashboards/reports for executive consumption
Agenda: Work through the day's responsibilites with the business analyst
This is part of the UA Job Shadow Program (JSP). The JSP is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to a career field and be mentored by actual professionals. Unless otherwise noted, the experience is one day long and will take place sometime during Spring Break, March 5-9.
